What excites me about web development and tech is the endless potential and ability to help others while constantly learning. When I first met a developer and saw first hand the artistic possibilities I was overjoyed when I first saw code in action I felt like Sam of Game of Thrones as he walked into the library.
Once I attain the knowledge and skills necessary to begin my career in web web development. I would like to focus on back-end development in order to conduct the analysis required by the Trevor Project to further the non-profits ease of communications and the ability to help them to have the tools needed to help their clients.
By joining Out-in-Tech I was allowed to visit headspace the new facility was beautiful and to hear form speakers such as Danielle from the Trevor Project. I had a loose understanding of code and its possibilities. But through event put on by out-in -Tech and St.Joseph’s Codetalk. I see how code and tech could not only be fun and artistic but it could help save lives. I will continue to attend events, conference and lectures to continuously educate myself about the world of tech around me.
